What about other solutions? In the era of Docker we are primed to think about portability. Surely we could find a solution to directly leverage our existing C# codebase. What about running the services locally on specific ports? That won’t work on consoles. What about C# to C++ solutions like Unity’s IL2CPP? Proprietary and closed source. None of the immediately obvious solutions were viable here.

Last week, we missed that Shoresy Season 5 had arrived on Hulu. My sincere apologies, as this show is perfectly suited to snowy days and frustrating times. A spin-off from the hilarious Canadian comedy series Letterkenny, Shoresy takes the eponymous foul-mouthed hockey player (portrayed by series creator Jared Keeso) into new terrain: vulnerability. Think Heated Rivalry, with less sex and more "your mom" jokes.
Fast forward to late 2025, and my incomplete notes sometimes show up on the first page of search results for “sdf fonts”[1]! Surely that isn’t the best page on the topic. It would be better to point to library documentation or maybe one of the research papers about the topic. My page isn’t that good.
